Mandir (Chapel of Rest)

Our mandir (Chapel of Rest) is available to all of our clients for paying their last respects (darshan) to their loved ones, also available for the final rights service before heading to the crematorium/ cemetery.

Please note: You have one slot available for viewing included in the full service package Monday – Friday between the hours of 10am – 4pm. Should you wish to use our mandir (Chapel of Rest) for further viewing or for the final rights service this will be charged at a cost of £150.00 per hour.

Floral Tributes 

Many families now choose the option of having both floral tributes and donations to a charity in memory of a loved one.

 

Floral Tributes can be selected by visiting the link below, for you to select coffin sprays and wreaths or to create a more personalised tribute. The floral tributes can be delivered to our office or directly to the house or crematorium, depending on your preference.

Donations

If donations are desired we can provide a donation basket at the service, we can either return the donations back to you following the service, or we can look after the donations on your behalf and send them directly to the charity.

Orders of Service

Funeral stationary is another way of personalising a funeral, it also gives the family something to treasure and keep after the service. We can provide Order of Service Sheets, Memorial Cards and thank you cards if required

Releasing of Doves

The realising of doves is a beautiful way to conclude the funeral service, a final goodbye for the family members and friends. The doves can be released personally by the family or they can fly straight from the basket.

Photographers

A photo album captures the different emotions and memories of the day with beautiful uplifting photographs for you to keep and treasure. The photographer would be very discreet and take photographs at the home address, funeral service and at the wake.

Standard Bearers

Standard bearers can be supplied by us at a cost of £75 per bearer (minimum 4 bearers required). Additional bearers will be required depending on weight of the coffin at the same rate per bearer.

Musical Tributes

We can arrange a selection of musicians for the service if desired, such as a bagpiper, soloist, organist or bugler, if you require any other musicians please ask.

Condolence Books

A condolence book gives you a chance to read and share memories of a loved one. We can arrange this for you, pricing will depend on choice of condolence book and current availability (Minimum 5 days lead time).

Priest, Celebrant & Officiants

A Priest will lead the funeral prayers, which will normally include a religious final rites service & reading from your chosen scripture. Members of family and friends are also invited to read a prayer or give a eulogy for the person who has died.

A Funeral Celebrant and Officiant both coordinate and conduct various aspects of a funeral service in conjunction with the immediate family of the deceased, A Funeral celebrant does not impose a faith based agenda within their ceremony work, they are often chosen by families who prefer a non religious ceremony,
